My name is Ryan Williams. I’m from the southern Illinois area, originally from Harrisburg. I moved to Williamson County in 2018 after I finished my undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Lindenwood University in Belleville. My obsession is being outside: whether I’m golfing, skiing, or hiking. I’m an avid weightlifter, wannabe chef, and I spend my free time relaxing, watching sports with my friends, or playing video games. I worked around the country from 2019-2022 in the operating room as a neuromonitor before I went to pursue a second bachelor’s degree in nursing at SIUC in 2023. I made this leap of faith because I believed I could do more for the community rather than sit behind a computer during surgical cases. I’ve spent the last year working as an RN at Deaconess IL in Marion in the ICU. I love bedside nursing and being the person to lean on while a patient is struggling with their health. Through my career, I made a connection with Lacey and Jenn and fell in love with our product. They gave me an opportunity to start treating patients before they get to the hospital.
